Aquatic Centre

The Aquatic Centre will host all of the swimming and also the diving for the 2012 games, although most of the seating is removable, the main structure will stay in place following the games. The Aquatic centre also acts as a bridge leading down to the Olympic Stadium, it is estimated that 60% of the public will use the bridge as a way of getting to the games.

Basketball Arena

Construction on the Basketball Arena began in October 2009, with work to erect
the 1,000-tonne steel frame starting in March 2010. Construction was completed
within budget in June 2011. It is one of the largest-ever temporary venues built
for any Games

Wimbledon

Wembley Stadium

Wembley Stadium is in north-west London, around six miles from the city centre, and comes complete with a sliding roof to protect against bad weather.The new stadium’s arch soars over 130m into the sky, more than four times the height of the towers of the old Wembley Stadium. Each seat has an unrestricted view of the pitch and plenty of leg room.
